After about a month of no fishing,I finally had a weekend that I could go so I got me some sweatt rags and off I went.Hit the water just after 7 .longlining sliders behind ICE CUBES,,,and chumming with ICE,,,IT musta worked,!!
I tried one of INKDABBERs photos,,only thing ,his fish looks(and is) much bigger than wat I catch.Heres to you Tim

The lord blessed me with a limit from bout 9 to 12 inch fish with more 9 and 10 than anything else.I was pleased . I was the only boat there(cane creek) for a good while.Caught fish in 14 to 16 fow mostly, color didnt seem to matter too much had 6 different colors and caught fish on all of them
kept these for the friday fish fry

I got my screw-in plug for the livewell installed and boy it was a JOB!!If I knew it involved all that it did I wouldnt have started it...I about needed to take all the floor out of the boat to get it out and it was like the drain hose drew up a couple inches and was too short when I RE installed it.It was very tight before I took it loose at the back of the boat.I had to do a little "riggin" to make up those couple inches with some pex pipe.cause you cant get a 1 1/8" barb-fitting like you can get a 1inch or 3/4" for water line repair...one inch pex is one and one eigth OD so I made it work.It didnt leak saturday,,whew!!

    HEY,,WATCH THAT YELLOW ROD

Great report, catch, and a really good job with the picture. If you fish alone, and folks want to see pics, you must do what ya gotta do. Cograts on the nice limit, well done long lining in this heat. I have never been able to catch'em very good trolling once it gets this hot. Of coarse, I really don't try either.

Nice catch! Sam those boats are a pain to work on. They sure don't make anything accessible but sounds like you got it going.

Glad you got on them. I know you probably had a few words about the floor and water line. Better you than me this time. I won't do my floor ever again, I'll sell the boat before I take that on again. Your fish look to be a good size for the picture nothing to be ashamed of. You should see some of John's fish. Good job on both plans.
