Started out on Big Allison this morning fishing for bass. Nothing hitting worms or spoons. So, back to perch fishing. Marked several big schools of perch in 25 to 30'. Caught a few on gold spoons but minnows were the hot bait. Most hit just off the bottom.

Today was the first time that I caught a bunch of large perch. The large perch would bite first then the smaller perch would start.

Total was 40 small to medium perch & 24 between 3/4 to 1 1/2 lbs.

Pretty good haul of bigger perch. Good eating and less perch in the lake.
