Colonels Creek Bait Question???

I am planning on going to Colonel's Creek Friday and was wondering if there are any bait shops near by that sells minnows. Any info offered will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Col. Crappie

Colonel's Creek market which is near the ramp sells minnows. They open at 8am. If not google the location of the Windmill on Longtown Rd.

as wiskerwhipper says if you coming from Lugof or Camden come up long town rd. to windmill rd. little store on corner beside windmill restaurant . he told me one time he opened at 6am on week ends if he still does or not I don't know.
if you coming down by state park stop at Dutch mans crk. marina about 1/4 mile past state park he opened at 6am before time changed.
I have not been by there sense time change so I don't know what time he opens but I would say no later then 7am
colonel crk. market don't open till 8am and that means eight (8) am lol they all 3 have good bait but some time they little lazy bout opening up lol

Thanks for the info. We hope to catch a few crappies in that area. This is the first time I have fished Wateree.

Dutchman has bait don't know opening time like remus said use to be 6am..... state park has bait also they open 7 am everyday.....
