Default Looking for crappie in hart well and hadn't found em

Was wondering if anyone has fished hart well this year yet and have found the crappie. I've been doing my recon from the bank but still no crappie. Don't think they've quite made it to the banks but I plan on getting the boat out soon. Had to replace lower unit last year so didn't want to run the boat to early then get cold again.

I haven't been able to fish since last Monday and they were still out deep at that point. Hopefully I can get after them again this week sometime, I will post any report that I have. Good luck in the search!

Hartwell always seem to be a little behind the spawn of the other lakes but I would bet they are moving to and in the shallows by now. I haven't fished Hartwell since last fall but hope to real soon and shallow is where I will go first to look for them.
