I finally got a way to play with my HDS7 in the house so I can learn a little about how to use it. Tried my first screen shot save and import. Who can tell me the significance of this shot?? That is Big Allison Creek by the way.
Other than Mr. Cromer that is.

Dunno....maybe........condo locations?!? Looks like a couple pretty good spots for a nightstalk (where the boat made circles) on the left side of the channel too.

John, you are pretty close. Remember when I was up with Mr. Cromer and his all time favorite one of a kind fishing rod went overboard??? I was looking at the waypoints and trails on my DF and realized I had saved the one when he lost the rod. The track where I ran straight across from one side to the other is where it fell out. I am coming up there next Wed-Fri with a friend who is taking his camper. I am rigging up a bar with hooks and weights on it an am going to see if I can spot it with the DI zoomed on the bottom. It is a long shot but you never know.

Boo buckets huh?? I just rigged up my SI transducer so I can do side imaging. This will be my first time trying it. Who knows I might find them if I can figure out what I am looking at.

Butch you are correct about a good spot for a night stalk. The night trips I have been with the guys up there, the wind was blowing down the creek and we had to fish on the other side of the lake to get away from it. This is a good spot for crappie, the picture in my avatar is one of my biggest crappie and I caught it pretty near where we dropped the rod.

Ray .Ya gonna stay at Ebenezer Park ? They got a nice campground in there. May have to come and check out the neighbors one evening.. We gonna try to get the gang out there Friday a.m. for a bit of chasin.

You may find that rod and you may catch some fish there too! You are just a short ways up from the Nuclear bridge. Little farther back on the other end is where we were tight lining and you guys went out of sight from us last year. You'll need to do that again this year but don't drop your rod out of the boat. We are at Ebenezer Park. I think he said site 23. Anyway it is the part down near the water. Come on by, we just going to be fishing and hanging out. We plan to fish with you guys Friday morning. Right now it looks like they calling for rain, but here lately you couldn't depend on a forecast that was more than a day out. Be my boat and car and his Motor Home. He has been trying to sell it since he does not use it much. If anybody is interested it is a nice rig.
