I got home from the hospital about and hour ago and after having spent the last 8 days in Icu this feels like heaven. They removed about 12inches of my colon and reattached it so as of now I am cancer free. I should be back fishing in 2weeks or so and be able to attend crappie fest. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. DON

I had that done in 2010 due to a bad case of diverticulitis. If you back fishing in 2 weeks you are a better man than me. Course maybe they did not have to cut you open like they did me. Good news is that they got it done and you will be good as new soon. I have not had any problems since I got through that so I know you will be fine.
Glad they got you fixed up in time for prime crappie season. Hope to see you on the water soon.
