How far would one have to travel to find good crappie fishing from Beaufort? I'm contemplating attempting a relocation to the area. I'm not much of an ocean guy so it may not be the area for me...
Thanks,

I'd LOVE fishing Santee for crappie (and will one of these days) but almost every lake I can think of has good crappie fishing. Just decide where you want to live and look at maps and find a location between 2 or 3 lakes and you should be set. There ae many lakes around SC and Ga. Just dont wind up settling somewhere an hour and a half from any of them. I'm very fortunate living long the Savannah River chain of lakes and have access to any of the 3 lakes with only a half hour drive to any of them.
