Put at Ebenezer ramp and saw ofishlbizness getting ready to unload and do his thing. My sister Lillie, her husband Everett and myself went up on the main channel and trolled around until we found crappies and perch willing to bite. 40 fw water, 52* and calm. We caught 8 and one of those my lucky sister caught a 13 inch loaded with eggs. We had 38 white perch with a couple at around a pound. Saw several guys putting in brush on the humps and a couple of guys we know put one in yesterday and caught 10 crappies off of it today. Drop shot was our way to success with 20 or more throw backs. Really nice evening on the water for a change.![]()

Found them close to where you said they would be. Lillie wants your e-mail address so just pm me that and I'll pass it on. I will be able to go next week in the afternoons if you want to go. I talked to Uncle Remus today and he wants to get on them too! Maybe we can a fish fry going. I will be left alone unsupervised all next week so maybe I won't get into to much trouble.. LOLHoller if you want to go!
BigDawg, it's those pictures we wanted to see in the "1st Fish of 2015" post. It always amazes me that everyone always catches slabs for their first fish of the year. Usually my first fish is a 3" perch or something of that nature.![]()
Dawgg , I am off Tuesday this week. See how it is gonna be with the weather.
The first fish of the year is nice no matter the size. Sounds like y'all had a good time on the lake.
