Bellys is mostly a take out place, but they have a couple of tables for eat in. Tommy Shealy owned it and recently sold it so I don't know about the food under the new owner. It is across from Lexington High School on US1, a bit out of the way from 378.
It shares a parking lot with the Farmers Shed which is a farmer's market run by Clinton Sease's family. Inside the market is a restaurant that has some of the freshest veggies you will fine anywhere. They have meat and 2 specials with a huge and varied menu that changes daily. They are not open on Sundays and I am not sure if Bellys is open either.

Well started out kinda ruff............ SCE&G #3 is NOT the place to put in by yourself....... I have to dunk my trailer to fenders just below water, open truck door 8" water great!! Get in boat and find the minnow bucket turned over with miners doing the back flip everywhere! rescue them, then turn key and click!:scratchhead Hmmm, I knew the battery was charged, fixed a loose connection and was off............ good thing the weather was cool cause I was steaming!
After I calmed down started picking up a few WP, got into em pretty good threw all the little ones back ended up with 20 in the cooler.
Sure was a lot of striper fisherman out.......... and it ended up being a nice day despite the start.

Sorry to hear you had problems at first but congratulations on your catch. Where did you decide to get your minnows? No crappie? Thanks for the report.

Number 4 ramp is just up a ways from where you were and it is deeper, I believe, than no 3, but I've used both. When I am by myself, I tie a rope to my front cleat and then to the trailer winch and coil the rope on top of the deck so it will peel off. Then I back out, bump the brakes and the boat slides off (trailer slicks) when the boat drifts clear of the back of the trailer I slowly pull forward until I can get the rope off the trailer winch and then tie the boat off while I park the car.
Now getting it back on the trailer at a shallow ramp is another story, especially in the winter, which is why Santa is bringing me a pair of Muck boots for Christmas. What I have done is leave the tailgate on my SUV open and climb through the vehicle to the back side door and get out there, but that is not as easy as it used to be.
Glad you found the perch.
Sinkermaker was probably in his living room enjoying your show at the ramp. His house is just down from ramp 3.

No crappie EMC........... I set up several times over brush with fish on the brush, but couldn't buy a bite with anything I tried............picked up the minnows at the gas station at the light. They had small, Med and biggins............
hit spots from 3 all the way past big mans.............ended up catching most fish just about within site of #3........go figure.
Ray, It's embarrassing, but I am so use to the better half backing me down the landing I didn't even think to use a rope:Doh:
