    Default Minnows At Greenwood

I am taking a friend crappie fishing to Lake Greenwood Saturday. We will put in at Light House Landing. Can anyone share with me where we can get minnows in that area?

    Thanks

Jerry I don't use any landings on that part of the lake but the store in Cross Hill at hwy 72 & hwy 39 sold bait the last time I was in that area. Hopefully some other will see this and help you out. Good luck to you and your friend.

I am coming from Greer, SC. Don't have to put in there but a friend recommended it. I have never fished the lake. If there is a landing that closer for me I will use it. If you know one that is closer, would you give me the address of it?

    Thanks

Jerry how would you be coming in the lake greenwood area from greer !!!! the new DNR boat ramp is a real good ramp and there are places to get minnows depending on what route you are coming in on !!!!!

Same thing I told him Joe. Had him call me last night and gave him the cords and address to the ramp.

Thanks to Stump Hunter for getting me in the right place for minnows and a good boat ramp. We ended our trip with 20 crappie and 1 bream. It is exciting to see a 5 year old boy (the friend I promised to take) catch crappie on a four foot ultra light rod and reel! He did not want to leave but agreed to if I promised to take him back again. Doesn't matter how many or how few we caught, what mattered was he had a good time and wants to go again. I believe the little fellow would stay out there all day.

Jerry it is great to hear y'all had a good time and a good catch. Nothing like watching the kids catch fish and see that smile on their face. Thanks for the report
