I live in Lexington.........And when I woke this morning everything was covered in snow..........
no it was not to smart it jumped in 21 ft water and dragged me in with it :Rofl :Rofl lol
no really!!! it was a flip phone when I got it they said it could go 50 ft. under water and it wouldn't hurt it
I just went deep enough to loose my cap and it knocked it out the phone didn't really get wet it was in my pocket under a coat and a
thick sweat shirt all water got on it was when I pulled it out of my pocket couldn't understand it it was working then and I looked a little later
and it was dead I will try the rice thing to try to get my messages out of it thanks
You got a good chance of being ok.............. A smart phone is a lot more sensitive to water damage, and I have saved several.
Heck don't feel bad.........I walked right off the end of my porch the other morning! Jumped up looked around........ whew no one there to laugh at me.
Do I even want to fish with you two? What? Oh! I did that too! I did chip a tooth but I saved the beer! You'll crack me up telling stories to get me to fess up. LOL Robert, I do believe you will be ok with it in some rice, just leave it there for a week so it can pull the moisture out. I agree if it were a smart phone it would have stayed at the house and not drag you into the perch you were killing. Maybe it thought you wanted a close up of the fish in action.:Rofl
The older I get............ the longer the string of small brain farts gets:banghead But hey atleast I wasn't on the roof........... or chasing a phone off the boat..:yikes
That is surely a good/bad report!! So good that you were able to get back on board and get some dry cloths and that you were close to a place to rest when the uncles pacemaker went off.
Sounds like the fishing was great, nice catch and very interesting report to read :)
Boy it is never dull around Uncle Remus is it. If the perch keep biting I might have to head to Wateree. Not much doing at Murray, my buddy and his son got 14 Friday, but that is a long way from 143. Glad you and your uncle survived the trip.
I keep telling you old poots to wear your PFD, never know when your phone might go for a swim.
