    Default wylie report

Had a good night as far as the bite goes .caught around 50 crappie but only 20 keepers and a dozen or so perch in the mix. Now the not so good........

If your going to have spot lights on your boat for fishing aim them down not across the water, sure you can see great but know one around can see anything. I'm guessing that is why I had to spot light a pontoon boat that would have hit me if I didn't. The toon turned to the right going between me and another boat who was less than 75' away.
And last if a boat has his rear turned to the bank less than 150 away why would you pass between him and the bank at full throttle when you got the whole creek on the other side and when I told him he got three of my lines I had thrown off the back he said "I wasn't too close. "S.IT happens". Oh well should have gone to Allison. Lol

Congratulations on a good catch! Sorry to hear you had issues. Hey Bowler Man if you get a chance watch this on youtube "Seven Person Boat Crash."(the 6 or so minute version) I don't understand this guy that was driving the boat. Thanks for sharing your report.

You should carry a rod rigged with a snatch hook and yank someone's azzz off the boat when they come that close. Then say s-it happens. I know as sportsman we shouldn't have thoughts like that but some idiot's insist on bringing them to mind. Glad your safe and had a good catch of fish.

Sadly no, it was a crappie fisherman. The toon I will blame on the boat with the spotlights blinding him but The other was just a clueless boater.

I was on Wateree a few years ago, early in the AM fog so thick I could see the bow of the boat, yet I could hear the boats going flat out across the lake. All I could do is pull out the spot light and flash it around.
They think because they have GPS they are OK, I don't think they know there are other boats on the water

Thanks for the report and congrats on the catch. Sometimes it isn't safe to be on the water with some of these yahoos.

Good catching, that's typical Wylie behavior it seems though. Every time I sit out on a dock at night I have jackholes blasting past me not 15' from the end. My favorite is when I stand up and wave my arms to get them to go around, they wave back.
