How bout a perch jerk again

How bout next Fri. 9-26-14 for a Wylie Perch Jerk? I plan on gettin wet bout 8:15 or so and jerk a few. Was out last Monday and found a herd...yes a herd of big ole perch and 11 keeper crappie in a secret spot. Had several perch pushin the 1 1/2 lb mark. Couple of crappie were bumpin 2 lb. Gonna try em again next Friday for a bit. Lets go clean out Wylie of those nasty critters.Gonna put in at Ebenezer Ramp. It is free now after Labor Day. Think S.S.Minnow is comin out for the challenge. Got me a pure never caught a perch rookie onboard ...if he dont back out. See Ya there.

I will be on a bus with my sweet wife headed to Cape Cod for an 8 day bus tour of New England.(If you thinking this is payback for the Oregon trip, you'd be partially correct. Actually that is not true, she has never objected to my going on any fishing trip, though on numerous occasions she thought I was nuts, and she was right a few times.)
That report sure got me wanting to go though. I have never got into a herd of big perch, gotta be a blast.

I want some perch to put in a pond.Ever since ive decided thats what I want to do,,Ive caught a grand total of two.If I ever go I want to carry my bait tank so I can keep them alive.

You may want to reconsider doing that unless you want to raise catfish bait. I am sure you know they multiply like crazy and it would not take long to over whelm a small pond. Course you would have a plentiful supply of 5 inch fish all the time.

Ofishlbizzness, I may be able to get off work and meet you out there. If I can I'll need to know that secret spot you got. I'll not to tell everyone. Had one heck of a trip cut short this weekend at Georgetown jetties. Winds got so bad we had to up root camp because the tents were being blown into the ocean with us in them. Wind and rain are the evil forces to a fishing trip. Thought we would never make land in that rough out going tide on a pontoon. But I'm home and dry now. Tents and some small camping gear left on the island free to anyone who want them.LOL
