Hey Guys,
Kinda quite on here so I thought I'd share a link I saw on Brush piles. What I found surprising is the huge number of bream around the structure. I expected crappie, bass and even catfish, but I never gave much thought to a brush pile holding bream like this.

Greers Ferry Nursery Pond Cove
Man I love my job! Today Matt and I did a dive evaluation of the brush piles in Greers Ferry Nursery Pond outflow cove. All I can say is that the Mossback Megastructure sure does attract and hold fish. On this structure there were hundreds of bluegill, a few bass, a dozen crappie, and 2 15+ pound flatheads. Wow! The other structures had fish on them but not as much as the Mossback. Some of this is due to the depth of the structures. All structures (artificial and natural) had a good amount of algae growth. We will be putting around 100 large cedar trees in the cove over the next few weeks to give fingerling a place to hide from the predators when we release them from the NP. The attached video is of the Mossback Megastructure. Enjoy!
