I had tied some double rigs using Don's Crappie Logic Gnats and had planned to try them sometime. We ran out of minnows and I dropped one of those rigs down and started catching two at a time. I gave Uncle Remus a rig and we both hauled them in till we got tired.
I use 8# Flurocarbon and tie two about 12" apart. I put a snap swivel 12" down from the bottom one and use 1 oz. Bass casting sinkers. I tie a swivel on the top end about a foot or so from the top one and store them on a swim noodle I cut to about a foot or so.
Also, Berry's Flexit Spoons in 3/4 oz. jigged on the bottom will kill them too. We use minnows to find them and then go to the jigs or spoons. Blue and Chartreuse have been the best colors for us on the spoons. The reason I switched from the spoon Wednesday was the perch were hitting so fast they were getting all 3 of the hooks on the treble in their mouth and it was taking forever to unhook them. The jigs were easy to unhook.
