went by harbor freight today and got submersible LED trailer lights for $31.99. comes with 25ft. wire, plug and license bracket
look in Sunday paper and get 20% off single item coupon == regular price 39.99 -8.00 =31.99
plus get a free 25 ft. tape measure or some other thing with other coupon take somebody with you and get another something free. aint much but hey $8.00 is 2 gal and a qt. of gas .

Well I did it! After seeing this post today, I just had to go in harbor freight, guess what I came out with? Thanks.

I got my led lights on this morning and they look good! This is the 3rd set of lights I have put on this trailer in 9 years, I hope they hold up better than the last 2 sets. They were not led's.

I need a new set also. Banged one up and got a short in one wire inside the channel somewhere. Need to find a coupon first.

That was my problem, wire in side square tubing , which runs the whole length of trailer, was shorting out, kept blowing fuses in truck. One of the lights had a bad connection in it too, you could bump it and it would come on, but later it would loose connection and go out. Hopefully I got it right now.
