I understand that Mark at the Crappie Hole in Chapin sells and services Minn Kotas.(803-345-5606)
I did not know that when I ordered my I-Pilot on line or I would have at least checked with him. Academy may carry them but not one close to me (yet..will be soon) so I don't know if they do, but if so their price would probably be good.

If I was going to order on line I would call or email Brian at BBG Marine in Ga. I got my DF from him and he beat the box store prices and ships out almost overnight. He is a sponsor on here and very good to work with.

Brian at BBG Marine. And you might check Cabelas. They sometimes have reman or display models pretty reasonable.

When I bought mine I got the unit with the I-pilot factory installed. Minn Kota had the price "set" at all the retailers so all that became a matter of choice to me was getting it from the closest "authorized service center" in case there were any problems. Now I understand that some retailers are offering at a better price than Minn Kota's asking price. Mark Danque (The Crappie Hole in Chapin, SC) sells some MK motors he's rebuilt and gives warranties with them. He, too, is an authorized MK service center and sells new motors as well.
