To me,
longlining = trolling at a speed that will control you baits, jigs or cranks with lines out the back 'or' front with your baits, jigs or cranks following your boat.
Tight lining = trolling at a slow speed of .05 or less with enough weight to keep the line vertical = spider rigging
Pushing = trolling at speeds faster than .05 with heavy weights keeping the lines close to vertical to control depth with bait, jigs or cranks
This would be my best definitions
