I think I'am going to try some trolling and jigging around piers. Anyone been on Wateree lately ? Any tips ?

Picked up 5 yesterday afternoon. The bite was slow and the water is still pretty muddy but it could have been worse...another bag of fillets for the freezer! Water Temp was 52 to 54 deg. and were caught about 20 ft. deep in 28 to 30 FOW.

Welcome to CDC and Good Luck tomorrow, looks like it going to be a nice day to be on the lake!

I went out Monday , I have very little experience trolling, basicily all I've ever done is catch then in the spring when they get shallow. We trolled in mostly about 30 fow and only caught one crappie , but we did catch 4 stripers . The biggest was 12 lbs -27 inches long. That was fun! Everything was caught around 15 feet deep. They were all caught on crappie jigs, 2 of them were caught with the ones I got from stump hunter 👍 it was a beautiful day out on the water!

I would think as warm as it's been that the crappie should be around the piers now?
