    the spawn is definitely on at Russell, caught 23 slabs in 2 or 3 ft of water wednesday. the males were as black as coal.

    Thanks for the info and yes they are in the spawn big time on Russell Congrats on your catch, post a pic if you can of your catch. I know everyone would enjoy seeing it.
