    Default Sportsmens Classice

I will be at the Sportsman's Classic at the DNR fishing pool dodging fish hooks and catfish fins from 4 til 6 PM tomorrow. Stop by if you are coming and say Hi or let one of your kids or grands catch a catfish.
Hope I don't get rained on.

I got a feeling there are not going to be many Mamma's and Daddy's standing in the rain to watch their kids catch a fish out of a plastic pool, so I may get a reprieve to one of the buildings at the fair grounds. Most of the participants have never fished before and their parents don't know fish bite in the rain.

Sea ray, we will be looking for ya. We're taking a break from crappie fishing this week because little man qualified to fish the high school state championship tourney on Murray Saturday. He's very excited, he was the only sixth grader to qualify. The weigh in will be at the classic at 3:30.

Good luck to him, sounds like you got him headed in the right direction. I am only working Friday afternoon. I am a volunteer with DNR. We also teach their "Fishing Clinic" for youngsters.

Good deal, I know you'll have fun with the kids. I'm going to try and break away a hour or two Saturday. My son is pushing me to go to Jack's Creek next week, I've about given up on the swamp ever getting back to normal again...
