I made the mistake of feeding my minnows. Boy did they make a mess of my tank.

Hey Guys , Sinkup lives right up on Crappie heaven. He is one really nice guy too. Last June I pulled the Pirate ship up to Douglas lake. Sinkum met me up there and showed me a couple of spots to fish. Those spots can not be revealed but I caught a nice mess of 14 inch crappie.
    Thanks again Sinkum!

every couple weeks ill stick a hose in the tank and let it run for awhile. the excess water drains out a drain hole at the top. i dont know how much water goes in. i run the hose to the bottom and let it run about a 1/4 open for 5-10 minutes in warm weather. when it gets cold maybe once a month ill run some water in it.

Hmmm......overflow holes at the top of the water line. Cool! The 55 gallon drum idea is sounding better and better to me although I think I already got a pretty good tank. If things change and mine doesnt keep minnows alive during the hotter months I think I can come up with a barrel and keep it inside my boat barn. Thanks for the tips Rango.
