Default Beautiful day at Lake Rabon

Got on the water at about 8am. Water temp was 55 and rose to 60. We caught 34 keepers with the biggest being 1.5 pounds. All were caught in less than 7 feet of water but we did not find them on the banks. It felt so good to be back fishing again!

Very nice cooler of crappie. Looks like you are on them and catching some good fish. Congrats on the catch.

You did better than me, I longline trilled most of lake and caught about 8. I didn't feel like tipping with minnows, probably should have...still it definitely was better than being at work.

We caught all of ours on jigs most under a float. They did not seem to want it moving much. Most bit while it was sitting still or slow moving with the wind. We only had about six that were too small to keep.

Way to go Magnum. Hope to see you on the water soon.
