first fish of the year on double minnow rig 45 foot deep!
Beautiful white crappie! And 45 ft down...wow!
Well, it sure seems like that most folks' 1st fish of the yearares turning out to be a larger than average fish, so hopefully that'll be encouragement to get everyone out there when this crazy weather settles down.
45 ft ant that kinda deep for crappie? Still nice fish.
Took me awhile to get motovated to go fishing but here's my first of 2014....not big, just saying...

Way to go Butch, maybe that fish and the warmer weather will motivate you to get back out there
Hey I got a witness. One of them in there I caught. Maybe 2 or 3.

This was from our Wylie trip with some of the C.C members.
All of the fish we caught in 40 FOW, water temp around 46 to 50 degrees, tight lining minnows.
Went to Greenwood lake for the first time today, wanted to check it out and see the crappie masters.me and the wife caught our first fish of the year today, mine was a 2.20 pound crappie caught in the first five min but the only one hers was a wp, but was glad to get out on the water and try the new ozarks and i pilot outAttachment 151966Attachment 151968
