Wanting to make me a few jig poles...Ya,ll ever?

First of all.. God is good to us boys all the time were blessed all of us.I,m wanting to attempt to make me a few jig poles .Have any of you guys ever made poles for yourself.Would like your input or links where to start.Enjoy working with my hands.Thought it would cool to catch that new state record with a pole I made myself....LoL...Don't need the best stuff middle of the road is fine.Ya,ll have good day.

Sounds like a interesting rod build. I have rebuilt some fly rods but never built a new rod. Here is one place that carries rod building supplies and they ship quickly. I have bought a lot of materials from them.
