Is anyone else ready and thinking about the upcoming year of crappie fishing. I know I am looking forward to fishing some new places in January and February and hopefully catching a few slabs in the process. I know I haven't had the chance to go lately and was planning on fishing the next week before I head back to school, but with the weather and wind forecast not looking promising will just have to play it by ear and hope for a day or two with bareable winds. I believe that if the lakes settle and the weather gains a little stability we will be in for some good fishing before to long.
