Default A little fishing on Broadway today

Took the yak out to Broadway this morning for a few hours, it was nice not having any wind to deal with. Water temp is 65 degree and has a good stain to it. The bite was right on the bottom or within two foot with only small fish biting but did catch around 20 crappie and a few yellow perch. Spider rigged with minnows and the bites were very lite. Awesome weather right now to fish Hope everyone gets a chance to go this week.

Few pics of the size fish today, like I said they were small today so I'll post the smallest of today's catch

    Ronnie,
Those look like Eagle Claw fiberglass rods, maybe?? I have one 8ft EC fiberglass and love to catch fish on it. I have had a couple of decent stripers on it and it takes a while to reel them in, but I love the action.
Is that what those are?? I need to get on the water soon, been too long.

Sometimes a nice calm day and a few small fish makes for an outstanding trip, that most certainly seemed to be the case on this awesome fall day. Congrats on enjoying your time on the water.

The water looks smooth and not a boat in sight. Glad you were able to go and catch a few. Thanks for the pics and report.

Thanks guys, it was a peaceful day without boat traffic. Ray those are BPS micro rods, lite action. About the same as EC rods. Awesome rods to catch any size fish with
