Went out yesterday afternoon to learn a little about my new depthfinder and place my last two brushpiles out. Did a little bass fishing and fished some brush too. The bass were more cooperative but I did get my first crappie of the year (awful late for the first huh). Fished mid-lake around Fishing Village. Water temp was around 55 and in the backs of some pockets up to 58 degrees. Water was slightly stained. The crappie was caught about 12 ft deep in 24 foot of water. Here is a pic of the brush she came off of. I can't wait to go when it's just fishing and nothing else. Looking forward to Friday. I think fishings gonna bust loose this week.
