Just wanted to share a set up option with everyone. I long line with twelve rods now. I have (2) four rod Driftmasters on the back of my boat with (2) two rod Driftmasters perpendicular to the four rod holders so it almost looks like a half of a square. I use (8) ten foot rods on the four rod holders and a 14 & 18 on the two rod holders. Using the same length rods directly out of the back is nice because if you catch a fish on one of the middle rods, you can move the other rods down to the rack. Now when you cast back out, you have plenty of space between the 14's and 10's that you don't have to worry about getting lines crossed. I know some of you use rods off the front but that makes it to hard to make sharp turns. I don't have a problem getting lines tangled making a pretty sharp turn. May be useful to some of you.
