Just purchased a 25 Suzuki, good price and as of 1 month use couldn’t be anymore satisfied. Took a chance and purchased the motor on the internet from Boat Max On Line. From order to delivery took 8 days. Nearly 900.00 cheaper than any dealer in the area

Just bought a 25 Mercury 4 stroke....satisfied so far...I don't think you can go wrong with Mercury, Suzuki, Tohatsu....don't think there's a nickel difference, the only reason I went with Mercury is because the dealership is close by and a mechanic friend works there.

Doing great Remus, it’s been hot but I don’t let that slow me down. Fishing has been good to very good most of the year on Santee. Here’s a couple pics from last Thursday and Friday and Sunday.

thanks to all for advice I finally settled on a 20 HP Suzuki from Boat Max on line seems like good people so far
ordered it Tuesday 13th and had it on the boat and running Friday afternoon 16th so no complaint on delivery.
but cranking it was funny- put it on the boat and put oil in it and hooked battery up- but guess what- yep I
touched the starter and before I could turn it lose it fired up and the gas tank was not hooked up lol.
I thought this thing is gonna be easy on gas if I can figure out how to cut it off before it blows up .
again, thanks to all that chimed in with info and advice. hope to see y'all on the water soon
