Default A Pretty Good Looking Weekend Coming!

Looks like some very nice temps to get out at daylight and do some fishing this weekend. Also, the cooler mornings should keep the pleasure boaters and water lice at bay an extra couple of hours.Thumbs Up That's what I'm hoping for anyways. Anybody thinking about doing any fishing over the weekend?

The way these storms have been popping up I'm holding off a few days. The 20 degree drop has been nice.

I hooked up this afternoon thinking about going in the morning. Looks like the small chance of T-storms have increased to 60% minimum so I aint setting a clock for 4:30AM tomorrow. I will just wait a few days and let this weather straighten out some.

The lakes should be getting some water... We got 1.5'' of rain Tues. night and just looked and we had 3.8/10'' last night. That's over 5'' the last two days and there is a 80% chance here today. Maybe we will have some good stained waters next week. Hope you luck if you go today.

Well it been 30 days of work and no play.I am going home to night hook up boat and will be trolling at hill by 6am in morning. I have fish withdraws from not going to lake . I hope I can still know how to catch a fish it has been so long from seeing one of those long rods bend from a fish on the other end. I may try lonecane creek in morning it will just be great to be on water relax and enjoy the the day fish would just be a plus for me.

Mark I hope you have a good time catching some crappie this weekend. A 30 day run is hard to handle. Was starting to think you may be out west fighting some of those fires. Good luck.

Mark, it's gotta be tough not getting any fishing in for the past 30 days. I dont know how you cn make it that long. I'd don the rain gear and hit the water if'n it had been that long for me. Looks like Saturday will be the day I go....if the forecast holds out.

Ronnioe, other than that 1.75" we got last Monday, we only had sprinkles until last night when I got 1". On Monday when I got 1.75" my neighbor who only lives @ 2 miles from me didnt get anything. Dad lives 5 miles from me and didnt get any either.

Yes the rain is pouring on some and the others are not getting any. Greenville/Spartanburg Airport is around 25 miles north/east of me and they have only got 6/10 this week.
Can't let Rosco go outside by himself in heavy rains, he doesn't pass a mud puddle without splashing right in the middle of them... Tuesday night he had his pool red muddy and it took an hour to wash the mud out of his hair.... the wife didn't see the humor when he came running through the house

Yea, I bet! BAWHAHAHAHAHARoflRofl You gonna have to get Rosco a pair of rain boots. Tuesday after I had a measured 1.75" of rain the city of Elberton (3 miles south of me) reported .004". They only had a sprinkle in town.
