Jimmy, Beagler mentioned something about the day use area closing for the winter. Can you check on that? I've never fished the upper end of Hartwell. That late in the fall there's no telling what you might catch. The stripers ought to be way back in the creeks by then. I'm really looking forwards to it and even if I dont catch a fish I know I'm going to enjoy it..............I ALWAYS DO! Folks, this crappiefest is in a different part of the world than the ones in the past. I hope the ones that live nearby can come out and fish with us. Even if you cant make the fishing dont miss the greet and eat. It is a fun day for sure!Thumbs Up

Last year they started keeping the park open through the winter. Need to check to be sure.

Jiummy, you better spend the next few weekends sinking boo and writing down those coordinates. There's ALOT of us coming to fish with ya and we gonna need a few spots apiece to catch some of them slabs over.
