Looking for Yamaha 25/30hp Lower Unit

I'm in need of a lower unit for a Yamaha 25/30hp 3 cylinder 2-stroke. My model is an 88 but I think a variety of years will fit as long as they came off of a 3 cylinder motor.

The 1988-2002 30 hp 3 cylinder will work or the 1998-2002 25 hp 3 cylinder. Of course you’ll need to specify long or short shaft.

You may know this but the 1984-1994 40/50 3 cylinder will bolt up. I believe you have to get the drive shaft machined but folks in Arkansas are using them so its possible.

Was fortunately able to locate one locally.

Thanks for the info too. I was thinking about buying a 40/50 if the price was right considering the machining would be another $100 or so.
