Default WTB Humminbird transducer for pirhanamax portable depthfinders

Hi, I am looking for a hummingbird transducer for the pirhanamax line of portable depthfinders. If anyone has one they are interested in selling, let me know. I would be interested in the transducer that attaches with a suction cup, or the one that has an installable bracket. PM me or comment here. Thank you

Which PiranhaMax unit would this be for? We have made some that use just a 200kHz sonar, some that use a 200/83kHz sonar and some that use 200/455kHz sonar.
Just wanting you to get the right one is all.

Hi Mr. Greg, thanks for responding. I tried to send you a PM, but couldn't figure out how to do so. I will check when I get home, but I am almost positive that I have the Pirhanamax 160 PT, the portable guy. You may be able to help me with my issue. I was in a car wreck in july or so of last year in which i was hit very hard from the rear. In my trunk was the depthfinder. My trunk got blown out, and it was a hard enough hit to crack some of the plastic holding the head unit to the portable case, but no visible damage to the screen or cuts in the transducer wire. When i went to use the unit, It will power up fine, but doesn't show me anything on the screen. The first couple times I tried to use it, it would show me some images for a few fleeting seconds before it would go back to a gray screen. The last couple times i tried to mess with it it was still powering up fine just showing me nothing but gray screen. I have concluded that the transducer is fried, but do you think just getting a new transducer would be effective for fixing my problem? Or would it be a gamble, and would be smarter to just buy a new unit all together?

It may not be you wahanlin as I turned PMs off (was having problems using it too).

“It will power up fine, but doesn't show me anything on the screen” are you meaning that there is nothing on the screen or just that there is no depth reading?
    Is there a temperature displayed?

Unless you can cross-test your unit with someone else, you are just gambling that the problem is the transducer not that something got broken loose inside the unit itself or even both. You can use most (non-DI model) units to cross-test with, even the Side Imaging models.

I think that I would save the money and look at a new unit.

It had displayed a random temperature that stayed steady, it was around 50 degrees or something if I remember correctly. It would read 0 ft consistently as well, but everything else would have a gray screen. I knew it would power up because the backlight would come on, but then nothing but the depth and random temp. I will see if i can cross test the unit with another transducer, and keep my eye out for a new affordable unit. Thanks Mr Greg!
