Cane pole can give you the skinny on how to fix that, if it can be done. Just sold a 565 and other parts, day late and dollar short. If you use it on the TM it isn't too expensive to buy a puck type for the TM. Good luck with it.

WTB used Humminbird 565 fishfinder or transducer
My transducer cable got hung on the motor and broke..I tried to repair it with no success. I want to buy a used one or even the complete used unit with transducer. Thanks
