How deep is the water at end of dock and how is the fishing at the dock ? Reason I ask is wife loves to fish off of dock but hates going out in boat. She says I stay too long when I go out in boat. I don't know 12-16 hour trips seem ok to me.

bout 8 ft... crappie pretty good for a week or two round march....all the catfish you want later in the spring!
