Default Still got the new car...uhhh...boat smell

I done went and bought a new glass boat and ain't got room for both.
For sale: 2014 War Eagle 754 with 2014 40hp Yamaha. Stick steer, vinyl interior, hi tek rod holders front and rear humminbird electronics. Switch on front so it will read from trolling motor or transom. Very comfortable fishing. Well laid out boat. Bought in December and it has about 11 hours on boat and motor. Had all the fluids changed according to Yamaha specs. Minkota edge 42lb TM. This boat is in perfect condition. Been under a shed since day one. I paid almost 20k for it in December and I kno I'll take a bath on this one. I'm askin 15 for it. If anyone wants a new boat but don't want to dish out a couple of grand for sales tax, this is the boat for u.

If you want to register it, how do you avoid paying a couple of grand in sales tax?

I've bought several used boats in la. You have to pay sales tax on the trailer but not the boat. So you make two purchases. The trailer you purchase for a couple of hundred bucks. When you register the boat, at least in Louisiana, you pay a fee. 23 bucks I think. Has nothing to do with the sale. Again, I'm only speaking for Louisiana because that's all I kno about, but here you only pay sales tax on a boat from a dealer. I'm pretty sure it'd be the same for a used boat from a dealer.

The two pieces of carpet are just there to keep mud, minnow guts, and crappie nibbles from staining the vinyl. Kinda anal about that. The seats have been wiped down with baby oil about once a month since they were bought.

Attachment 166010Attachment 166011Attachment 166013Very large storage box (lockable) on the port side. On the starboard side there is a huge live well with removable divider is situated for easy access from front or back. Also, there are boxes that will hold three of the plastic divided boxes for the front and back fisherman. There are two built in drink holders for each seat. The middle is open so moving around is easy. The battery box is huge. With two batteries in there there is easily room for two more with room to spare.

What are you selling that for David? I remember when you bought that one after the last one was wrecked. You needing another BBQ trailer or something?
