This is not one of the MK style brackets. Much heavier built and has te option of full removal plus it locks into place both forward and in the retracted position. Theses were built for Skeeter owners originally and will work on many style boats. I had this on on a G3. I did not like some of the other brackets that are out there. This one is rock solid and well made.
It weighs about 15 lbs !
I have had this on my boat for only 5 months, selling boat so I pulled the motor and this mount. In excellent condition! I purchased this from Grampa Joes Marine and paid $214.00 plus $26.00 shipping and still had to buy the hardware bolts extra. I called today to verify pricing and they had 2 in stock. Don't mid this chance to save $$
