Wtb hb 1159

I origanally wanted a 1198 but after checking with HB, all I need to run my 360 is a 1159. Some of you might know of someone who wants to get rid of one of these units. Thanks

I was led to believe that you still needed a side imager to get the 360 to display. The software up date for the 859 , 959 and 1159 enables these models to display the 360 view when NETWORKED with a side imaging model. Either the 1198 or 1199 , the 998 or 999 or the 898 or 899.

Sometimes the support people at Hummingbird can give the wrong answers. Because sometimes we the customers phrase our questions wrong. Othertimes the support people might not quite understand the question as posed. Maybe Humminbird Greg can chime in on this.

The 1159 is still a big enough investment to be 100% sure before you buy.

You might be exactly right. When I talked to a HB rep today he didnt explain it to me that way. If thats the case, I might should just go ahead and get another 1199 for the front. I will give them a call back on Monday just to make sure and ask them that exact question. Thank you very much!! Im not going to interlink my 2 units anyway. All I want it to do is get a unit for the front to do nothing but operate the 360. I have an extra 1198 but I keep it for a back up for my side scan on my console.
