Default WTB a power pole or Talon...need help choosing

I would appreciate some opinions on which pole to buy. Also if anyone has one to sell or knows a good place to buy one, I would appreciate that info as well.

not an opinion but what happened to my friend. had a power pole on his boat fishing Okeechobee. put it down and it wouldn't raise. tried everything and said he finally had to get out of the boat and take it apart. found the problem and called the company. they would not help with free parts. it was in warranty.

Search for Talon on the "Member Sponsor" Classified Ads forum. A couple of our sponsors carry that and I'm sure will give you the best deal around.

I would get on bass sites and review their thoughts. Bass guys love the Power-pole over the talon, and you can order direct from Power-pole. Plus they sell a great bracket that mounts behind the motor so you don't have to drill holes in your transom.

If you are going to spider rig power pole makes drift boards to mount on your sticks. I will be running two 12' talons here in a month or so. I don't spider rig enough to warrant getting the power poles just for the drift boards.

I have 2 power poles and have had a couple minor problems out of warranty and both times they have told me that even though they are out of warranty we will still cover it. You will not find better customer service anywhere in this country. I have the paddles on mine for spider rigging and they actually work better than my drift socks. I tried out a couple of talons but never sorry I chose to go with the power poles

Geno, might PM Tushog on here. He has one of the poles mounted on his Triton Tin boat.
