Welcome back Shu! Glad you’ve been keeping the boss straight over there.
Good idea for the cooler, I’ve seen a bunch of different ones. Some folks run stripped down 4WD through the forest and they have radiators and trans coolers plumbed into some unusual places.

Agree with Skeet. I have seen them on roll cages and in back compartments as well.

Growing up in the high and low deserts out west, and been around a few off road desert races, they get right inventive on the cooling. Yes, some use water cooled engines. Especially the racing trucks...and some buggies running the Honda or Toyota engines...

So hot is hot is hot is hot, I can reject overheating, but it is still happening....
I've done some things to try to bring down my engine temps on the Jeep (like the aux radiator), and it seems to have worked, but just for so long. Eventually the temps rise to over 220. It's not over heating, but like I said, me no likey! I want it coooooolererer
I broke down and bought a new radiator and it fixed the issue for good, hopefully. The engine runs way cool. I had previously put in a 160 degree thermostat, and it's now running too cool! Gotta put in a 180, and it'll be fine me thinks!

Circulating water is necessary, no telling what was in the core of the old unit. My Mercedes keeps loosing a tablespoon or two of water but I haven't found where its going. Now you and your engine is Chillin'!
