Live scope or equivalent?

Ok I talked to a Bass Pro Shop guy the other day and if I understood him correctly if you have a live scope transducer it will be good to 100’ depth. So if this is correct you don’t need a down style transducer? I also can’t believe that the units don’t come with a transducer at the price they charge.

Well that would depend how you use it.

A lvs32 is good to abouut 70 feet, down or forward. Lvs34 out to 100ish.
