I'm no where near as good with the technical parts as I'd like to be. If I was, I'd have already hacked in to the operating system of different units and made them do exactly what I wanted.
FAT 32 = File Allocation Table 32 Bit
Newer operating systems use 64 Bit which may be called NTFS format since it was first introduced with Windows NT-file system. Windows 10 may no longer do a FAT 32 format, and if needed the format would need to be done with Humminbird PC.
Clear as mud right.
But.... we are way off track for this thread.
You guys talk a fellow into trying this, but the more you talk, wow. Why would a person need to go into operating system?
