Here a couple more from the front unit, can't imagine how many more I could catch if I had top of the line imaging from Hbird or Lowrance.

I just run in auto medium, don't adjust anything, I played some at first but happy enough with the data I get from the factory auto adjustments.

pab1981, which Garmin are you running? On the first page you were showing a GT52HW and here it is GT22HW. I have GT52HW on a 93 chirp. Happy here.

Nope, I haven't that I can remember. I am kind of a if it isn't broke don't fix it kind of guy. I have a very high percentage of catching limits running the units just like they are and a lot of those were produced from covering fresh ground with these units, not really inclined to play a whole lot with them. I also don't update my software unless I have a problem with a unit or hear an update has something I have to have. Haven't updated either unit to date.
