Best mount for Helix 7

The Gimbal mount that comes with the 7 won't rotate/swivel, correct? If not, what is the best mount for this unit, so I can swivel it side to side? I want to mount it on my console.

This is an in dash mount, I'm going to try thr gimbal mount on my new boat first, if I don't like it, might try this.

I'm looking for a mount that I can rotate and swivel, maybe some kind of RAM mount. Gimbal mount only moves up and down, not side to side.

I would opt for the two inch ram mount, rather than the smaller one. It is more than needed for a H7 but if you ever step up you wont need to upgrade.

Lots of good feedback on the balzout mounts, they have knurled knobs at the joints so they are more solid but very pricey.

If you opt for the ram mount look on amazon, they sell one that matches the gimbal mount dimensions so you dont need to drill the mount.
