AH, I do like what it gives in the 2D but being in a kayak the SV needs to shine. One or two passes in SV helps alleviate a lot of paddle time. Did pickup a Simrad GO7 XSE with a Totalscan xducer this weekend. Going to try it as well and decide between the two.
I am running a 93sv, sorry haven't checked this board in a little while. I don't have any side view captures saved but will be out today after the rain quits and all day tomorrow and will try and save some.
Have you tried running it in 800kHz? These little Garmin's seem to really like that frequency in side view for some reason.
