I got the trolling motor mount on my bass boat and love it. hard to fish without it once you use it a few times.

I think you should get one.just a 2d unit with a 360 is a great setup.I've got it all .2d,di,si and 360.I mainly use the 2d and 360.I use the transom mount 360 and really like that setup.if my 360 were to fail,I would by another transom mount 360 but most people prefer the bow mount.(stake beds.made from tobacco sticks .when in real shallow water,just lower the 360 down in the water a few inches.works great.

I've decided I "need" the 360 and it will fit the Edge TM that came on my RT188. Now I'm trying to decide which Helix to get, and I'm leaning toward Helix 12 DI on the bow and Helix 12 SI on the console. I don't like SI on the trolling motor since it messes up the SI when the head turns. Can you split the screen on DI and 360? Seems I heard that you could only do that with the Onix.

I would encourage anyone,wanting to run 360 along with second sonar view,At the same time.Compare the helix to Onix before they buy.360 needs a lot of processing power.
