    any guesses on what kind of fish this could ... It's a hump in the main river channel on kentucky lake .. I was catfishing and ran over it .. Spot locked the trolling motor on it for a while but no bites

    I'm thinking Stripers, a buddy and me have caught several on drop offs with crankbaits while bass fishing on Ky lake.

    Get back over that spot with a jigging spoon and see what they are. Just about everything will hit one of those.

    Yep look too big for crappie but who knows on K. lake, got some humps/dropoffs like that on local smaller lake been pulling heavy stripers off them with a blade bait, jigging with sharp pulls of 2 feet then letting blade fall back down a foot and try to tighten line as bait falls, fish bite on the fall usually. yes let us know what u catch, be fun to learn what u got there, thanks for the post, jax

    How deep do those danged silver carp school? I would think not deep but could be them.
