    Post Need advice/help/opinions

Am rigging out new boat and thinking about a Helix 10 SI on console and Helix 9DI on bow. Will these link together and what transducers do I need. Will be used for freshwater fishing, crappie and green trout. Thanks

The HELIX 10 SI will come with everything you need for a transom mount application ...

The HELIX 9 DI will come with the transom mount XNT 9 DI T ...you may want to call HB and exchange this xducer for the XTM 9 Di 25 T (200kHz/455kHz 2d and 455kHz/800kHz DI) or the XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T (83kHz/200kHz 2d and 455kHz/800kHz DI) ...

Both of these xducers are puck style for TM application and have extra shielding for possible RFI issues ...

You will also need 2 AS EC QDE adapter cables ...
    Humminbird | AS EC QDE

You will also need 1 Ethernet cable long enough to reach both units ...

The HELIX 10 SI and HELIX 9 DI can share all Sonar technologies, Accessories, and Waypoints ...

The larger units can be connected together with an Ethernet cable where they can share xducers, Accessories and Waypoints ...

Rickie is spot on as usual - but I have one question, being a Northerner - I'm not always familiar with some of the nomenclature used...

What the heck is a green trout??

Bass, mostly considered trash fish on this board. They are pursued by a lot of us but many won't admit to the crime!
