    kosmo,

Nice image....particularly given the water depth. Is the regular single & dual beam 2D sonar (non Chirp) still available as a menu option with the 2.7 software update or is chirping the only 2D available?

I was going to check it out some today, but I've been having so much fun watching the crappie, down in the brush and moving around and coming up to grab my jig I just didn't fool with it. I'll check it out soon.

Yes, you can still use the 200/83

Kosmo thanks for the continuing education for us newbies. My first time posting so if I make mistakes try to ignore it please. My question on the first pic is are the good arches and extra info on the screen due to chirp or a product of using both 2d crystals. Usually the 83 khz crystal produces the better arches under most conditions. Or is this newbie way off base.?
Thanks again for the information u provide!

Your correct, but I don't have a 175/225 to compare with that picture, using the 200.i new I had that picture, but didn't no what frequency it was on until I got home to look. I do believe that the chirp or maybe it's just the update, but there's a definite improvement in 2d,with the 2.70 update

Thanks to u guys flashing all the nice screenshots I just had to have an onix 10. Took awhile to install but I think I have the transducer spot on. Only had it out once and the wind was horrible and forgot my sd card. It is too much fun just riding and looking at the si to stop and waste time fishing. Keep up the good work!!!! I didnt have time to experiment with very many screen combos.

The ONIX can take screenshots directly to the internal memory ... and then download them later to a SD Card ...
